“The Only Thing That Is Constant Is Change” - Heraclitus

I think about this quote often when I am going head to head with someone who is change adverse. Change comes so naturally to me, it is so "common sense," that i struggle with those who contradict and battle me. I can already see the benefits in my mind. I can see that 5 years down the road the change I am fighting for will benefit everyone financially and beyond.

But I have to keep reminding myself. Change is not easy or natural, even though it is the only things that we can bet on in life. That is my constant struggle. That is what I am here to explore and delve into. I want to educate myself on the psychology behind the change adverse so I can go into battle knowing how to help everyone around me. I want to do everything I can to educate, empower, train, and share so people around me are fearless of the changes ahead.

If you research Heraclitus, the author of the quote I selected above, you will discover a man obsessed with instilling the ideals of an ever changing universe. He seemed to be perplexed by those around him who didn't realize that we must embrace change and complexity to truly understand and get the most out of life. (Check him out - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heraclitus)

However, the more that I have lived and the more that I learn, the more I realize that the temptation of an elevated understanding and mastering of life is not enough for most. So, we circle back to - most people don't like change. So how can we navigate these waters and pick people up from the freezing dullness of the waters below.

I have some of the answers. But I want more. I always want more...

Stay tuned - and we will grow together.
